Newsletter Came Home Today!
by Carol Robb - Tuesday, 7 September 2010, 10:42 PM

Hi Parents!

What a great first day we had at Ecole Lloyd George!

Thanks to all parents that were instrumental in a smooth transition for the children this morning.

Just so parents know a newsletter came home today with lots of information in it. If you would like the newsletter emailed to you this year please complete the portion in the newsletter regarding this.

Also, MEALS FORMS came home today and are due back to Mrs. Hoffman by Friday Sept. 10. Please note that there was a correction on the meals form-please be advised there will not be PB & Jelly served. Peanut butter will not be something that will continue to be on our menu due to the severe allergies in our school this year.

Our apology for this error.

Thanks so much,

Mr. Schoen and Mrs. Robb

Tuesday September 7: First Day of School
by Carol Robb - Tuesday, 31 August 2010, 12:04 PM

Hi Families of Ecole Lloyd George,

Mr. Schoen and I welcome you back to another exciting school year!

This year we have decided to start our students in their classroom homeroom for the first day of school.  The children will spend time in their Family Groupings(NEST GROUPS) on Friday of the first week(Sept.10).

Please watch for the class lists to be posted by 8:30 am on Tuesday September 7th. Your child will then report to their teacher from 10:30 to 12. 12:00 is the dismissal time so please ensure you have arranged care for your child.

Wed. September 8 is the start of the regular school hours for the year- our doors open at 8:20 with classes starting at 8:35. Children are dismissed at 2:35.

A formal newsletter will come home with your child in the first week explaining more about our school and fees for school supplies and Young People's Concert.

Please keep in mind also that Ecole Lloyd George is hoping to become more of a NUT AWARE school. We have many students with severe, life threatening allergies and education is the first measure. Please refrain from sending any snacks in your child's lunch that has nuts or peanuts.

See you all very soon! Happy New Year!

Sincerely,

Mme. C. Robb (Vice-Principal)
